The Ministry of the Presidency and Development begins the road safety improvement works on the Patiño regional highway (RM-F3), which connects Ronda Sur with the hamlet of Santo Ángel, in the municipality of Murcia.
The Director General of Roads, José Antonio Fernández Lladó, today made a visit to the works being developed on the road, which, he stressed, "supports a very high traffic intensity, with 2,800,000 vehicles per year."
This action is part of the road maintenance work carried out by the Autonomous Community and has an investment of 39,000 euros.
The works consist in the repair of the deficiencies and subsidence of the firm in the Patiño crossing.
Work is being done on the milling of 2,154 square meters of pavement in the deformed zones and the restoration of the pavement with hot asphalt agglomerate.
The covers of the registers will also be repositioned, so that they are level with the new grade of the road to avoid noise and vibrations with the circulation of vehicles.
The action is completed with the repainting of the zebra crossings and the central and lateral lines of the crossing
The general director announced that "the horizontal and vertical signaling will also be renewed in the crossing of Tiñosa, which is part of the same road, the RM-F3".
Both performances will conclude this week.
