The Governing Council of the University of Murcia (UMU), which has met today in the convalescent building, headquarters of the Rectorate, has approved the third list of the public employment offer for Teaching and Research Staff (PDI) for the 2017, which includes 24 teaching positions and another 24 permanent professors, as well as different measures that will benefit 380 members of the Administration and Services Staff (PAS).
As for the offer destined to the PDI, to the 44 squares indicated must add another one of titular of University by mobility.
With regard to the PAS, the improvements consist in the increase of the levels, so that the workers can progress in the professional career, the recognition of the plus of danger to a collective of the same ones and the restructuring of the List of Posts of Work (RPT).
The latter will make possible the strengthening of different services and the creation of the Single Data Office.
This governing body has also given its approval to the creation of the Center for Studies in Non-Cognitive Skills and the Studies Center for the Development of Giftedness, Talent and Excellence, as well as their respective regulations.
With regard to the first one, it will deal in a special way with the analysis and treatment of the social skills, attitudes and resources of the person independent of their intellectual capacity.
Regarding the second Study Center, it will have, as main functions, meet the demands of teachers and students and conduct research for the identification and diagnosis of gifted students and talents.
Likewise, among other functions, it will take care of facilitating attention to the diversity of these high-skill students.
The Governing Council has also approved the Logopédica Practice School -which joins the five already existing in the UMU- and its regulations, as well as the distribution of the posts of the University Senate by centers and groups.
