Education subsidizes with 10.000 euros the realization of activities of the Universidad Internacional del Mar (19/12/2017)

The Department of Education, directed by Rafael Gomez, has obtained the approval of the Governing Board of the City of Murcia to grant a grant of 10,000 euros to the International University of the Sea and thus contribute to the dissemination and implementation of activities that each course done.

An aid that responds to the agreement of the Plenary of last January 28, 2016 that unanimously approved the joint motion of the Citizen Groups and Now Murcia about collaborating with an economic aid to the 33rd Edition of the International University of the Sea to facilitate the realization of the courses that are programmed in the Municipality of Murcia.

"The International University of the Sea offers an annual summer course at the University of Murcia with a large and select proposal of activities that address issues related to the different areas of knowledge: culture, research and society in general," said Rafael Gómez.
