The Department of Modernization of the Administration, Urban Quality and Participation, directed by José Guillén, continues to embellish the different areas of Murcia and districts.
In Pintor Sobejano Street, located in the Plano de San Francisco, 40 meters of sleepers are being placed in order to "raise the ground so that the current plants have more sustenance where they can grow while they are given greater protection. and the area of the Plano de San Francisco is embellished ", explains the mayor José Guillén.
These improvements, consisting of the placement of these ecological sleepers imitating wood, are made by a team of six people.
Likewise, the planting of different types of flowers will be carried out as white 'thoughts' that will adorn the busy avenue, and the pruning in the form of 'topiary' of the existing olive tree.
This type of pruning, Guillen recalls, is very characteristic of formal geometric gardens and seeks above all that the specimen has a definite shape that harmonizes the whole while becoming a focal point for the look.
