María José Funes Meseguer will receive Wednesday at the University of Murcia the prize for the Anonymous Solidarity 2017. The event will take place at 6 pm in the Hemicycle of the Faculty of Letters, Campus de la Merced.
The award is organized by the Faculty of Social Work of the University of Murcia and the Volunteer Platform of the Region of Murcia, and has the collaboration of the Antonio Campillo Foundation, the sculptor Doctor Honoris Causa by the UMU, who gave his famous Maternity, with which each winner was given 18 years ago.
According to the organizers, the award given to María José Funes Meseguer is given "for the years of continuous work in volunteering outside of their profession, for their special sensitivity, and for their vital commitment to others."
The Anonymous Solidarity Prize distinguishes each year the humanitarian and solidarity work that, anonymously, people in our Region carry out daily.
Also on this day is intended to recognize the work of organizations that defend Human Rights.
