The work aims to evaluate some 100 buildings in the neighborhood of La Paz with its 1500 homes, from the point of view of its conservation, structural safety, habitability and fire protection conditions- and its conditions of accessibility, external conditions to the building and interiors.
Juan Roldan, Professor of Architectural Structures and director of the degrees in Architecture and Building Engineering of the Catholic University of Murcia, has been appointed, unanimously, director of the technical team of the work of the La Paz Agreement, signed by the City of Murcia, the Official Association of Surveyors, Technical Architects and Building Engineers of the Region of Murcia (COAATIEMU) and the Official College of Architects of the Region of Murcia (COAMU).
Roldán has expressed his satisfaction for this appointment, and has highlighted the relevance of this agreement, which besides being the first of these characteristics in the Region, will allow to work together with technicians with previous accredited experience and recent graduates of the technical schools of the Region. .
"For the execution of the project we will need around 40-50 technicians, half of them accredited experts, who will work together with young people without experience", which will allow them to get a first contact with the exercise of the profession.
