The Commitment and Transparency Foundation has highlighted the quality of job placement reports published by the University of Murcia (UMU) through the Employment Observatory of the COIE.
This recognition is included in the sixth edition of the Voluntary Transparency Report on the website of the Spanish Universities 2016.
Since the 2013 edition, the employability and professional insertion of university graduates is one of the indicators that measures the transparency of the results of these institutions, both public and private.
This new edition places the insertion reports of the COIE as those of the highest informative quality of national scope.
The improvement of access to information will be reinforced in the near future with a new design of the Observatory's application, in which the UMU is already working.
Working groups with employers
On the other hand, a working group has been developed, promoted by the aforementioned Observatory, in which the most demanded professional competences by the labor market in different sectors of activity were analyzed with several employers, as well as the selection criteria of university personnel. and talent management in the company.
The COIE is developing working groups with these professionals to analyze, among others, aspects related to university education, recruitment forecasts and profiles most valued by companies.
