Last Saturday, the Circular Plaza of Murcia welcomed, with great expectation, the start of Christmas with the welcome show and the lighting of the Great Tree that this year gains in height, with a total of 40 meters and 60,000 lights of low consumption.

Thousands of people gathered around the Great Tree, higher than last Christmas, and central point of the activities scheduled during the coming weeks.

A magical night recorded in the retina of all attendees and that has been collected in a spectacular video that brings together the work done for 15 days by more than 50 operators and will give light until these dates are over.

It is a way of knowing the assembly from its first phase, with the placement of the central structure and its ornaments, the star that crowns it, the 60,000 lights that give warmth to this space or the Bethlehem that rests at its feet.

All this from different points of view and with a spectacular ending with the best moments of its premiere.

The audiovisual shows, such as the one that collects the video, will be daily, from December 6 to 21 at 8:00 pm, and from December 22 to January 6 there will be two passes: at 8:00 pm and at 9:30 pm.

We must remember that around the installation of La Redonda there will be winter sports, games, workshops, performances for the whole family, a great Birth, the Royal Mailbox and audiovisual shows during all the holidays.

All activities are free.

Specifically, storytelling (also bilingual), dances, theater and Christmas magic, workshops of Christmas decorations, socks and cards, Christmas cookies masterclass, muffins, sweets and rolls of mistela, painting, light ornaments, pintacaras, balloon twisting have been organized , puzzles, tree plantations, etc.

Children's activities and family workshops around the Tree will take place from Wednesday, December 6 until January 5, in the morning and afternoon.

Children's New Year's Eve will be on Sunday the 31st and the Drilo show at Christmas will be performed on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th of January in the afternoon.
