A group of young Murcia creates the card game 'King Paparajote' based on this dessert of the Murcian cuisine that already triumphs in many municipalities The Department is going to acquire some copies for the play centers of the Youth Centers of the municipality
The Councilor for Youth and Development Cooperation, Rebeca Pérez, held a meeting at the La Nave Municipal Center with the creators of 'Rey Paparajote', the card game based on one of the most typical dishes of the Murcian gastronomy.
It should be noted that 'Rey Paparajote' exists thanks to the more than 200 patrons who have collaborated in a crowdfunding campaign.
It is a card game of 3 to 5 players that moves those who play within a 'Murcian' universe with touches of humor and fantasy.
A fun game to enjoy with friends and family that promotes interest in the culture, folklore and history of our Region.
The players will have to defend the territories of the Region of Murcia from the clutches of the evil King Paparajote and the rest of the players, who will not hesitate to attack to conquer your territories.
"We value and support this type of recreational initiatives that arise from the traditions and customs of our land, which seek to make known different aspects of the history of Murcia in a way closely linked to gastronomy," said Rebeca Pérez.
"In the last Spring Festival, inhabitants of the Region and visitors from all parts of the peninsula enjoyed these holidays, their cuisine and of course the star dessert, the delicious paparajote." For this reason, the Paparajote population suffered again like every year great losses, moved by revenge and tired of this situation that oppresses and devours its people, King Paparajote has initiated a plan of world conquest in which the Region of Murcia is only the first step ", explained Jesus Guillen, one of its creators.
