The Municipal Socialist Group exposes that the model of the CIM be used to favor projects of entrepreneurs in a trade in constant boom and proposes possible sites such as the free positions of the squares of supplies, the shallow of the market of Saavedra Fajardo or the Old Prison

The Municipal Socialist Group in the City of Murcia will move to the Plenary that will take place on Thursday a motion asking the Local Government Team to start the design and start-up of a Business Hotel Nursery dependent on the Center for Municipal Initiatives (CIM) and that, among other issues of coordination and advice, enable municipal premises for the temporary accommodation of entrepreneurial projects of entrepreneurs of the municipality.

This has been said today at a press conference by socialist councilor Sebastián Peñaranda, who has even contributed several possible sites for the nursery, such as the stalls of the food markets, the Saavedra Fajardo market and the Old Prison, once this public space has been rehabilitated.

Peñaranda has raised this request after analyzing the needs of professionals in a sector that is booming and should be a driver of the local economy.

"From the City of Murcia and other institutions such as the School of Hospitality courses and workshops of high-level hospitality are held in terms of content and qualification, in which many people in situations of unemployment have the opportunity to train in them to acquire skills with which to find a job or undertake their own professional and business project, which ultimately is what they participate in these courses, "says the councilor of the PSOE.

"The Consistory, beyond the existing training offer, should provide professional and business opportunities for students who attend these classes and pave the path of entrepreneurs is, without doubt, one of them," he adds.

The socialist mayor says that we must turn to this project.

"As a city aimed at promoting tourism, Murcia must include among its objectives to offer a diverse and quality hotel offer that takes advantage of the traditional resources that are available and also give opportunities to new professionals in the sector. in entrepreneurial entrepreneurship training and in the work of hotel companies that is the CIM, so starting a hospitality business incubator should not pose any problem and its implementation would complement the work that is currently being developed " , says Peñaranda.
