After the recommendations and actions put in place, the permanent monitoring of the polluting values indicates that yesterday an average value was registered that was much lower than the limit established in the legislation.
Although the weather forecasts are favorable, the councilor for Urbanism, Environment and Huerta indicates that the recommendation to use public transport continues to be maintained.
The air quality recovered yesterday adequate indexes, after several days in which a PM10 particle level was registered higher than the daily limit value, established at 50 μg / m3.
Specifically, the San Basilio station obtained an average of 34 μg / m3, well below the maximum allowed rates.
Last Friday, and after several consecutive days with high levels of PM10 particles, the Councilor for Urban Planning, Environment and Garden, Antonio Navarro, made public a series of recommendations and actions aimed at improving air quality in the city.
These measures were complemented by the permanent control carried out by City Council and Autonomous Community technicians on the evolution of pollutant values, especially PM10 particles.
At this time, the forecast of weather conditions for the next few days is favorable for these values to remain normal.
However, Navarro said that "we continue to maintain the recommendations to use public transport and avoid as much as possible the travel by private car through the center of the city."
