Now Murcia will take a motion on this matter to the Plenary next Thursday

NOW MURCIA asks that a dangerous crossing of the municipality, the one of the avenue of the Jerónimos with the Way of the Almazara, be regulated semafóricamente, to the height of the bridge on the highway A-30.

The municipal training will take a motion to the next Plenary to urge the municipal government to carry out the regulation of this crossing, establishing traffic lights that increase road safety and facilitate safe transit.

The councilor Angeles Micol explains that this crossing is frequented every day by numerous vehicles, and especially by neighbors of the districts of Guadalupe, Espinardo and La Albatalía.

"The danger of this crossing lies in the low visibility available to the vehicles and users that join the Jerónimos Avenue from the Camino de la Almazara, with the added situation that the curved descent of the bridge over the A-30 the vehicles circulate at great speed ", indicates the aedile, that aims that" the mirrors do not facilitate the road safety effectively in this crossing ".

Micol underscores the vital importance of "ensuring the maximum possible safety in the roads of our municipality, since its proper state and regulation directly affect the motor vehicles, cyclists and pedestrians who use them".
