The Vice Chancellor for Economy, Sustainability and Health Sciences, José María Abellán, met last Tuesday at the LAIB with representatives of the groups present in the vicinity of the Campus of Health Sciences.
In the meeting he informed them of the latest actions developed in the area and the forecasts derived from the imminent construction of the building of classrooms and laboratories of practices for students.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Virgen de la Arrixaca University Clinical Hospital, the El Limonar International School, the Real Sociedad Club de Campo, the adjoining plot, the association of the Buenavista urbanization, Latbus and the Murcia Tramway.
The current traffic and parking problems were addressed.
The Vice-Chancellor presented the solutions included in the Special Infrastructure Plan for all the development of the area.
The different projects of the Plan include new accesses to the campus, the expansion of roads, the provision of parking and the construction of new buildings, among other actions.
Following the sharing and convergence of ideas, a statement will be drafted requesting the commitment of the competent authorities in the promotion of the Special Infrastructure Plan in the Health Sciences campus.
