The Councilor for Employment, Tourism and Culture, Jesus Pacheco, attended today the third session of the first edition of 'The lunches of tourism', a new training program aimed at companies and distinguished services with the Tourism Quality Commitment, which It has taken place at the Teatro Circo.
A total of 26 people have participated, representing different sub-sectors such as travel agencies, bars and cafes, museums and centers of tourist interest that can be visited, shops, professional congress organizers, tourist guides, taxis
In this last session, the methodology 'design thinking' (design thinking or creative thinking) has been made known with some of its tools designed for attendees to put themselves in the shoes of the user of their products and services, achieving their full satisfaction .
Simultaneously, a lunch has been served with the participation of the students of the municipal hospitality school Murcia Emplea
The objectives of today's session have been to know how designers work, in a collaborative and user-centered way, to improve the degree of satisfaction of products and services, to test innovations or to reorient proposals to increase sales, expand markets, etc.
For this purpose, what has been called "attitude of the designer" has been adopted, be creative, observant and empathic, bearing in mind that in any detail you can find transcendent information.
The speaker was Teresa Jular Pérez-Alfaro, entrepreneur, project coordinator at XLI design + thinking, president of the Association of Design and Advertising Communication Professionals of the Region of Murcia, and vice president of the Spanish Network of Design Associations.
The Councilor for Employment, Tourism and Culture, Jesus Pacheco, stressed that "this first cycle of 'The lunches of tourism' has been very well received.
In addition to serving to extend and consolidate the culture of tourism quality has allowed the three services of the council work together and coordinated to offer this new initiatives.
Thus, although it has been organized by the Tourism Service, Culture has offered the spaces where it has been held (Science Museum, City Museum and Circus Theater) while Employment has been in charge of serving the lunches through the School of Hospitality.
