In 1987 the European Region Action Scheme was created for the Mobility of University Students (Action Plan of the European Community for the Mobility of University Students), known in all Europe by its acronym: ERASMUS, that has allowed to form in countries different from the own to hundreds of thousands of European university students.
On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the birth of the Erasmus Program, an event entitled "Voces de Erasmus" will be held on Friday, November 24, which will offer a citizen dialogue on the XXX Anniversary of the Erasmus Program.
It will be in the Assembly Hall of the Faculty of Labor Sciences of the University of Murcia (Campus de Espinardo) from 10 o'clock in the morning.
The inauguration will be in charge of José Luján Alcaraz, Dean of the Faculty of Labor Sciences of the UMU and Pedro Rivera Barrachina, Counselor of the Presidency and Development of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia.
At 10:30 a framework paper will be held: "The Committee of the Regions and the future of Europe: the Erasmus program", by Manuel Pleguezuelo Alonso, General Director of the European Union, External Action and Cooperation.
From 11 in the morning a Citizen Dialogue will be developed on the Erasmus Program: sample of experiences and good practices Erasmus in the Region, in which about twenty Erasmus alumni will participate.
