The Councilor for Employment, Tourism and Culture, Jesús Pacheco, accompanied by representatives of Jubón and Trova, the Coral Discantus, the Cabildo Superior de Cofradías, the Cabildo of the Charity Commission and the Little Sisters of the Poor of Murcia, presented the IV Solidarity Concert to be held on November 28th.
This event, which will be held at the Teatro Circo at 9:00 pm, is organized by the Cabildo Superior de Cofradías de Murcia and the proceeds will go to the Little Sisters of the Poor of Murcia.
In the concert, the group Jubón and Trova and the Coral Discantus will perform, among other Murcian themes, 'Murcia bathes in Luna' or 'Mi tierra es Murcia', and will premiere, with lyrics written by Antonio González Barnes, 'La huerta ', whose music has composed Jubón and Trova, in homage to his person.
The donation to attend this charity concert is 7 euros, and your ticket can be purchased at the Archicofradía de la Sangre Museum, Palacio Episcopal-Sala Martillo, located in the Glorieta de España.
Jubón y Trova is, for some time now, a group with its own sound, which keeps a coherence with the pop of a more romantic style, sprinkled with all the hints of self-assurance.
Discantus, with its director Ángel Carrillo Gimeno at the front, is composed of 80 members in its official section, and its consolidation as a national musical entity is indisputable, having offered concerts in China, the United States, Argentina, Poland, Germany, Portugal , Italy, France, as well as throughout the Spanish national territory.
