The circus and Romea theaters will once again host different activities organized by the Cajamurcia Foundation for children and adults to enjoy the Christmas holidays.
In this way, the Cajamurcia Foundation, in collaboration with the Department of Employment, Tourism and Culture, led by Jesús Pacheco, returns, for 24 consecutive years, to develop a comprehensive program for both children and the public in general.
Thus, the Romea Theater will host 'The flutist of Hamelin' and 'Hansel and Gretel'.
The first of the performances is a musical show full of rhythm, humor and magic to relive one of the classics of children's literature.
This recreation of the immortal fable will help the little ones to dream, to free creativity ... and all of it spiced up with cheerful and catchy musical numbers.
The functions will be on 22, 23 and 26 to December 30, at 17 and at 19.30.
For its part, with 'Hansel and Gretel' the youngest can learn a new version based on the immortal story of the Brothers Grimm, a story in musical format with libretto and original songs and beautiful choreographies with a cast of artists from some of the best productions of musical theater in the country.
This show will be performed on 2, 3 and 4 January, at 5 and 7.30 pm.
Tickets for both works, which are already on sale, cost 15, 12 and 10 euros, with a 20% discount for the purchase of both shows.
The Circus Theater will raise the curtain to offer 'Sing along' and 'We Love Queen'
'Sing-Along' supposes an unpublished format in the exhibition of films in Spain.
A show with viewing of musical films in which the songs are subtitled: as if it were a karaoke.
In addition, several animators will teach the audience the choreography and the lyrics of the best-known themes of Dirty Dancing, Mamma Mia, Grease or Mecano.
A show that has achieved immense success in countries such as the United Kingdom and the United States, where it is regularly scheduled in large cities.
The show dedicated to Grease will be on December 27, that of Mamma Mia!
on December 28, Mecano on December 29 and Dirtu Dancing on December 30.
Every day there will be two passes at 6:30 and 9:30 p.m.
Tickets cost 12 euros and a promotion of the four shows has been established at the price of three.
In addition, Yllana performs, with 'We Love Queen', a tribute to the music of the British group, dramatizing it and taking it to the stage, but without losing a bit of the essence of the songs.
A different and personal show, a new way of listening, feeling and enjoying the songs of one of the most spectacular rock bands of the 20th century.
The function will be on 3 and 4 January, at 19 and 22 hours, and tickets cost 20 euros.
On the other hand, the Cajamurcia Foundation will once again exhibit at Las Claras Cajamurcia Cultural Center, from December 18, 2017 to January 14, 2018, and for the third consecutive year, the monumental Bethlehem of Playmobil, consisting of nearly 3,000 pieces.
With an area of ​​350 square meters, this assembly makes an original recreation of the biblical story through the dolls and Playmobil's typical decorations, among which is usually hidden a 'figure-rabbit' for children to have fun looking for the ' infiltrated character '.
Last year, this nativity scene was visited by about 30,000 people.
Likewise, in Calle Almudena de Murcia, for the 18th consecutive year, the emblematic Bethlehem of the Cajamurcia Foundation will be installed from December 22, 2017 to January 6, 2018. This nativity scene is placed at ground level so that children and adults can comfortably contemplate the more than 100 pieces made by artisan Carlos E. Cuenca.
