The Councilor for Social Rights of the City of Murcia, Conchita Ruiz, visited this morning the hamlet of Cabezo de Torres where he made a tour of the Market accompanied by numerous women from the Center of Women in the town and in which they have shared ties on the occasion of next November 25, International Day for the eradication of violence against women.

An activity that adds to the programmed in numerous Centers of the Woman of the municipality of Murcia that today take action reivindicativas of sensibilización and concienciación.

It is a set of lectures-colloquium given by EMAVI staff, the Municipal Team of Attention to Gender Violence, dependent on the Department of Social Rights, which aims to raise awareness and inform about violence against women. early detection and prevention.

In all of them, in addition, lilac ties will be distributed and placards will be placed to reject violence against women.

"In this way we seek to publicize that public resources are available to women who are in situations of gender violence, to emphasize prevention measures, eradicate sexist behavior and send a message of support to victims and all society thanks to the work of specialized personnel ", explained Councilor for Social Rights, Conchita Ruiz.

Stresses the march that will be held in Avileses at 17'00 h.

and in which, for the first time, associations of all kinds have been united for a great protest against gender violence.

At that same time talks will be given in Aljucer, Vistabella or Ronda Norte.
