The Councilor for Social Rights, Conchita Ruiz, and the Councilor for Modernization of Administration, Urban Quality and Participation, José Guillén, today presented the activities programmed in the Terra Natura park on the occasion of the celebration on November 20 of the Day of Children, with which the basic rights of children are claimed.
In this case the activities have been scheduled for Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 and is a novelty in the calendar of events that are usually celebrated with this motive.
They are also totally free for all minors who participate.
"With this dynamic weekend, we intend to bring our children and youngsters closer to nature, to the knowledge of animals and other parts of the world, all based on values ​​as important for their development as solidarity, respect for work in equipment or the care of the environment ", explained Conchita Ruiz during the presentation.
It is a gymkhana that represents the journey of explorers across five continents.
Throughout the course of the park, children will have to pass a series of tests and games, as well as guess different riddles.
A combination of possible senses and experiences thanks to:
-Enjoy observing the magnificent animals present there.
- Motor activities of speed and coordination.
- Educational activities to learn by playing on animals, the world of explorers and on the five continents.
-Attend listening with educational shows and talks.
-Work as a team with siblings, family and friends to pass all the gymkhana tests.
Week full of activities
But this is not the only activity from the Department of Social Rights with this reason.
The Monteazahar Garden of Beniaján, along this afternoon, Zarandona on Friday 17 and the Plaza of the University of Murcia on Saturday 18 and Monday 20 will have information booths coordinated by associations and that will feature participatory workshops, exhibition of works, talks informative or samples of games.
Regarding the cinema, today at 8:30 p.m., in the Regional Film Archive, the film "Where is the House of my Friend" is projected, while with respect to the theater this year the Auditorium of La Alberca will become Friday 17 on stage for the play "The Little Prince".
