The Association of Teachers of Latin and Greek (AMUPROLAG) and the Spanish Society of Classical Studies (SEEC, Murcia), with the collaboration of the Faculty of Letters of the UMU, call the fourth edition of the event "I know my heritage, ¿and you?".
It is a day in which, through the reading of the Greco-Latin classics, an attempt is made to highlight the importance of the Greco-Roman culture and the humanities in the Spanish educational system, both in the non-university and university areas.
The event will take place on Friday, November 17 in the Plaza de La Universidad (Staircase of the Faculty of Letters, Campus de la Merced), from 11 in the morning.
The event will bring together classic lovers who want to participate.
The organizers have proposed that, as this is the two thousandth anniversary of Ovid's death, this year the texts are related to him.
The activity includes a video contest in which all educational centers (university and not) can participate.
Registration can be done until November 27.
