"Europe, a project in crisis?" Is the title of the conference that Miquel Roca Junyent will deliver this afternoon at the Cajamar auditorium in Julián Romea square, at 7:00 p.m.
The event is organized by the Mariano Ruiz-Funes Foundation, of which the University of Murcia, Autonomous Community and the Illustrious Bar Association of Murcia are patrons.
The well-known Catalan jurist and politician Miquel Roca will be in charge of delivering the inaugural conference of the program of activities for the 2017/18 academic year programmed by the Mariano Ruiz Funes Foundation.
Miquel Roca Junyent (Bordeaux, 1940), is one of the seven fathers of the Spanish Constitution, since he represented the Catalan Minority in the paper that elaborated the 1978 Magna Carta. He was also part of the commission that drafted the Statute of Autonomy of Catalonia.
Deputy in the Congress for Barcelona and president of the Catalan Parliamentary Group in the Congress of Deputies from 1977 to 1995. Between 1982 and 1995 he was the head of the representation of the Generalitat de Catalunya in the Commission of Bilateral Cooperation with the Administration of the State .
