All this, with the fundamental purpose of improving the quality of public services in terms of efficiency and transparency.
The last meeting, held in Ghent (Belgium), which was attended by the councilor Rebeca Pérez, marks the beginning of the last stage, in which the 10 partners have drawn up their local action plans, known LAP, to its implementation in their respective cities.
"The City of Murcia works directly in the fields of urban regeneration, interaction with the citizen and participatory processes, as well as in promoting better urban governance, citizen participation and innovation in terms of communication," explained the City Council spokeswoman.
It must be remembered that the same URBACT program, to which Interactive Cities belongs, awarded the Murcia City Council a few months ago with a Quality Seal in recognition of the implementation and management of projects at European level identified as good practices.
Prize awarded to projects of excellence of which the European Union considers should be shared with other European cities.
"The transnational meetings facilitate the sharing of the activities developed within the framework of the project and to develop the roadmap for the implementation of the program.
The Interactive Cities network maintains a platform for the exchange of good practices and the possibility of direct feedback on the projects and actions proposed within it, mutually supporting the 10 partners, all of them European, "said Rebeca Pérez.
