The City of Murcia has approved, through the Governing Board, a collaboration agreement with the Catholic Migration Commission Association (ACCEM), which grants a grant to develop in Murcia the "Support and support program for the integration of Refugees ", oriented to the socio-labor insertion and social integration of applicants and beneficiaries of international protection.
"This will allow them to gild these people with the necessary social skills and the precise tools for coexistence and autonomous social life, through the development of a series of actions that contemplate from the teaching of the language of the host society to the development of individualized insertion itineraries ", explained Councilor for Social Rights, Conchita Ruiz.
We must remember that ACCEM has a long experience in the field of reception of political refugees and that it has started its activity in the city of Murcia recently, being one of the entities responsible for the program of reception of refugees.
In the coming days, it is expected that new Syrian families will be incorporated under this program, which will be added to those already received previously from other countries by this same entity.
The amount of the subsidy granted for the year 2017 is 10,000 euros that will allow the promotion of activities of reception and accompaniment of these people without resources.
