A conference on transgenics, by José Miguel Mulet, professor at the Polytechnic University of Valencia, is included in the first session of the III Week of the Faculty of Chemistry, which will take place from November 13 to 17 at the headquarters of this center of the University of Murcia (UMU), on the Espinardo campus.
The conference will be offered this Monday, November 13, starting at 12:00 noon, in the Hermenegildo Lumeras de Castro assembly hall, in the aforementioned center.
Throughout this week other activities will be held, such as the opening of mural paintings and the inauguration of the world's largest periodic table, both of which will take place on November 14.
The program of the same Tuesday includes the delivery of recognition diplomas to companies sponsoring the different actions of the faculty, and a round table on the UMU and the Murcian companies, to analyze the opportunities and synergies of this combination.
The Week will also include the holding of several seminars and the awarding of distinctions to teachers who retired in the 2016-2017 academic year, scheduled for November 16.
