Under the generic title "The Islamic State: will we learn the lesson?", Will be developed in the boardroom of the Faculty of Law of the University of Murcia next Wednesday, November 8, two round tables.

It is an activity that has the scientific direction of UMU professors Cesáreo Gutiérrez Espada and María José Cervell Hortal.

The program will begin at 1 pm with the presentation entitled "Birth, Boom and Decline of the Islamic State", by Cesáreo Gutiérrez Espada.

Next, Andrea Cocchini, from the University of Navarra, will speak on the subject "The Islamic State and (geo) politics";

Juan Jorge Piernas López (UMU), with "The terrorism of the Islamic State, the directive on the name of the passengers (PNR)", and Bénédicte Real, of the University Center of the Defense of Zaragoza that will talk about "The Islamic State and Spain "

At 16:30 hours, the second round table will begin, with the participation of Romualdo Bermejo García, University of León, who will speak on "The Islamic State and the use of force";

Pilar Pozo Serrano, University of Valencia will refer to "The mutual defense clause, article 42.7 of the TEU";

and Eugeni López-Jacoíste Díaz, from the University of Navarra, with "The Islamic State and International Humanitarian Law".

The conclusions will be borne by María José Cervell Hortal, from the UMU: "Is the Islamic State a threat to the world?"
