The Police has found evidence left by the authors.
The burial works that are being carried out in Murcia have suffered a new vandalism.
It is the fifth occasion in less than two months in which there are attacks against machinery and material means related to the previous actions for the elimination of train tracks.
The difference with respect to the previous events is that, on this occasion, evidence left by the authors of the sabotage has been found.
At 4.35 am and after being alerted by Room 092, the local police officers appear on the train tracks that run along the Camino Mota de los Alemanes, in Los Dolores, where the machinery of the works, stationed inside the fence that delimits the railway line and next to the access gate on the PK 525 + 550 section.
The police found a burning excavator -whose fire required the intervention of firemen-, while the second one did not present damage to the naked eye, but in which they discovered an open bottle of detergent, wrapped in a supermarket bag, which, by the smell that it gave off, it seemed to contain gasoline.
Also, the agents saw a blue cap on the floor, next to the right front wheel of the machine, and, next to the back, a glove of plastic similar to the ones that usually are in the gas station pumps.
Similarly, the fence located on the left bank of the road, Beniel sense from Murcia, also had a broken just at the height of the machines.
As in the four acts of vandalism that have suffered these works in just two months, also last night were units of National Police and Scientific Police who took charge of both the remains found and the custody of the machinery for a more thorough inspection by of the latter
More than 7 weeks with sabotage
This has been the fifth night of attacks against the machinery that works in the works prior to the burying of the tracks.
The previous one took place on the 21st, when posts were knocked down, methacrylate screens, wall supports and fastening nuts;
On September 12, some hooded men set fire to two other machines that were in a lot between Calle Limonar and Painter Saura Pacheco;
On September 29, two trucks suffered a fire along with the level crossing of Senda de los Garres;
and on Tuesday, October 3 was the most violent night, whose consequences, in addition to the damage valued at thousands of euros, forced the interruption of rail traffic for several days in the region.
