The Councilor for Sports and Health and the President of the AECC Murcia present this initiative, which aims to obtain funds for research against the disease.
The march, which can be done on skates, running or walking, will start at 10 am and at the Plaza de la Cruz Roja will be installed a play area, information booths, tasting area, live music and giant paella.
Next Sunday, throughout the morning, the Plaza de la Cruz Roja will concentrate the strength of all Murcia against cancer.
'AECC in March Murcia Iberdrola', organized by the Provincial Board of Murcia of the AECC with the collaboration of the City, has as its fundamental objective to raise funds for research against this disease.
With this objective, from 9 o'clock there will be activity in the square, where there will be numerous activities prepared for all ages, which 'will allow us to enjoy a day of conviviality, joyful and healthy, which will take place in a familiar and relaxed atmosphere', explained the Councilor for Sports and Health, Felipe Coello, in the presentation, in which he was accompanied by the president and vice president of the AECC Murcia, Agustín Navarrete and Manuel Molina Boix, and by the institutional delegate of Iberdrola in the Region of Murcia , Patricio Valverde.
The tests will start at 10 o'clock.
At that moment the skids will start the march, along 10 km;
at 10.45 hours participants will participate running, with the same distance;
and at 11.15 hours the walking march will begin, this time with a distance of 5 km.
The event will continue at 1.30 pm with the start of activities in the Plaza de la Cruz Roja, where a ludic area will be installed, information stands, tasting area, live music and giant paella.
Last year, when the first edition of 'AECC in March Murcia Iberdrola' took place, a participation of some 2,000 people was reached, which this year is expected to double.
Registration is done at the Headquarters of the AECC Murcia or at Compralaentrada.com.
The first 2,000 will pay € 7 for registration and the next € 10.
In addition, the first 4,000 registered will be entitled to their kit runner composed of backpack, shirt, wristband, water and supplies, in addition to their bib number.
From the 5,000 participants will be delivered dorsal and bracelet.
You can also make registrations on the same day of the test, until 10 am, in the same place.
The remaining participants will have a dorsal and bracelet of the test that will give access to the tasting and play area.
In addition to the City of Murcia, the event has the collaboration of Iberdrola, stores Decathlon Alcantarilla and Thader, Fripozo, Scouts del Barrio del Carmen, Thader Shopping Center, Huertas Group, Athletics Federation of Murcia, Hero, El Tirol, SAMU Ambulances, The Doctor's Basement, FNAC Murcia, LAT, Solán de Cabras, Radio Murcia Cadena SER, TMT Escenarios, Paroli, Compralaentrada.com and Disfrimu.
