Aguas de Murcia will provide an annual funding of 7,000 euros, for two years, to the Platform for Social Action of the University of Murcia (UMU), as reflected in the collaboration agreement signed on Monday, October 30, in the building of Convalecencia, headquarters of the Rectorate.
The agreement states that this collaboration will be destined to research work and awareness and training activities on the subjects in which the aforementioned Platform works.
The professors Encarnación Bas and Francisca Ferrando, promoters of the agreement, have highlighted in the signing ceremony that one of the first actions will be the First National Congress on Trafficking in Human Beings, to be held next November in the Faculty of Law.
For its part, the manager of the aforementioned company, José Albaladejo, has shown the commitment of his entity in support of these activities.
He also recalled that his collaboration with the UMU comes from far and that it is also maintained with the Chair of Water and the Chair of Corporate Social Responsibility, along with those that exist with several faculties.
AGREEMENT WITH ACCEM
Also this Monday another collaboration agreement has been signed with the purpose of contributing to the realization of studies on the social reality.

In this case, with the ACCEM Association, directed by Julia Fernández Quintanilla.
His signature was attended by, among others, the promoter of the agreement, Professor Manuel Hernández Pedreño, and the territorial manager.
of ACCEM in Murcia, Mohammed Kebaili.
The signing of the agreements, which were signed with the rector, José Orihuela, was also attended by the vice-rector for Social Responsibility, Transparency and Equality of the UMU, María del Carmen López Aniorte.
NEW COLLABORATIONS
On the other hand, tomorrow, October 31, will be signed other cooperation agreements with the aforementioned Social Action Platform.
It will be with the Cajamurcia Foundation and the Clece company.
