The Department of Social Rights has approved, after the approval of the Governing Board, the approval of the subsidized project to the Platform Association for the Promotion of Volunteering of the Region of Murcia which aims to carry out activities to promote volunteering, information, training and social awareness.
The subsidy is an injection of 6,000 euros for voluntary promotion activities, which have as possible recipients to all citizens, so the number of beneficiaries is unlimited.
The project includes a series of actions that are carried out throughout the year and that are reflected in:
- Maintenance of the Office of Information to the Citizenship in the matter of volunteering.
- Informative campaigns: Celebration of the International Day of Volunteering and participation in Volunteer Fairs and Conferences.
- Organization with the Faculty of Social Work of the UMU "Prize to anonymous solidary, XVII Edition".
- Communication: Edition of the Newsletter "Be voluntary", press releases, social networks, blog maintenance.
- Volunteer training: Fall school, and edition of the papers of the "II Regional Volunteer Congress".
- Coordination with: the Third Sector Platform, the Volunteering Platform of Spain and Citizen Participation Councils of the municipality of Murcia.
- Other actions (Institutional relations, internal organization and communication).
