Until next October 30, the exhibition of Antonio Gómez Ribelles "The reflection of a fragment" will remain in the lobby of the General Library María Moliner of the University of Murcia (Campus of Espinardo).
Gomez uses the old photographs of the old family album to reflect on the construction of memory, falsehood and memories.
In the words of María José Cárceles, curator of the exhibition, "Antonio Gómez Ribelles is a contemporary and multidisciplinary artist, painter, photographer (postphotography), writer, poet ... and everything from the knowledge and theory of discourse."
According to Prisons, "the artist transforms the old family photographs using a style of his own, a quiet, reflective, poetic and message path, creating series of his works, thus making the journey to meditation more complicated than if he did an individual work" .
The poetry of his compositions makes us reflect, says the curator.
