The Council of Social Rights, led by Conchita Ruiz, has taken a new step in its commitment to the neighbors of the municipality and has approved, after receiving the approval of the Governing Board, three grants to the Federation of Deaf People Region of Murcia, the Regional Association of Murcian Hemophilia and the Association of Parents and Protectors of Psychic Disabled for the improvement of the living conditions of its users and their families.
First, the collaboration with the Federation of Deaf People of the Region of Murcia will allow the development of its "Program for the Development of the Autonomy of Deaf People in the Municipality of Murcia" which provides the service of sign language interpreters and interpreter guides for deaf and deafblind people.
In total, 13,000 euros make access to public goods and services available in all areas: information, health, administrative management, socio-labor, etc., enabling in turn the environment (entities, institutions, etc.), can communicate with the deaf when they demand to communicate in their language.

Secondly, Social Rights has granted a grant of 8,000 euros to the Regional Association of Hemophilia for the development of the following projects within its Annual Work Plan: Psychosocial Intervention Service and internal and external management of the Association;
Prevention and improvement of articular functionality in hemophilia;
Maintenance of the Headquarters;
Completion of the XXVII Hemophilia Training Conference for children between 8 and 12 years old and Training and Promotion of Young Volunteers.
The direct target population of these projects is 117 people affected by hemophilia, in addition to providing services to carriers, direct relatives and relatives of deceased.
The aims of the Association are to help affected people to solve their specific problems of medical care, education, guidance, vocational training and employment, as well as promoting and promoting awareness among society, and institutions of those affected with deficiencies of antihemophilic factors or other coagulation problems.
Finally, the Association of Parents and Protectors of Psychic Disabled (ASPAPROS) will receive 8,000 euros for the development of the "Program for Integration of Psychic Disabled in Social Life" during 2017.
The subsidized program comprises two types of differentiated actions, directed at people with intellectual disabilities:
Large group activities, programmed for all the students of the center or large groups (40-50 people), among which stand out: cultural outings, sports activities and activities of the natural environment.
Small Group Activities (between 7 and 9 people): They are planned according to the tastes and preferences of the students, chosen by themselves in the meetings held, thus ensuring a part of the success of the activity.
These activities will be carried out on weekends under the supervision of volunteers: Visits to Murcia, use of public services and leisure activities and culture.
