The City Council of Murcia, through the Department of Youth and Development Cooperation led by Rebeca Pérez, and the Department of Culture, Jesús Pacheco, presented this morning a new appointment of the event #Murciasemueve in which music, dance, gastronomy, alternative market or projections will become the attraction of thousands of young Murcia.
An event in which have also been present various participants of a meeting that has already become a reference in the youth cultural panorama.
This event, which celebrates its 5th edition, will take place at the Artillery Barracks on Saturday, November 4, starting at 5:30 p.m. and fulfills the objective of giving visibility to the talent of the young Murcia, as well as bringing different leisure alternatives to the adolescents of the municipality.
Rebeca Pérez, who has been accompanied by the Councilor for Employment, Tourism and Culture, Jesús Pacheco, explained that "with this initiative we take a leap in the evolution of #Murciasemueve, reaffirming it as a showcase for the talent Murcia, where our young people are the protagonists in these events, which are also a cultural alternative to know all the opportunities, in different sectors, that are developed in Murcia.
The doors of the artillery barracks will open from 5:30 p.m., at which time the new appointment of #Murciasemueve will begin, which will offer attendees different areas of leisure, gastronomy, fashion, youth information ... etc. , accompanied by music and dance.
Music and dance
The main stage will host the dance show of the Murcia dance school Murcia Dance Center, which with its modern style choreography will attract the young Murcia.
The afternoon will be enlivened by Dj Victor Castelló.
A show that will give way to the concerts of this edition.
3 groups with which thousands of attendees will vibrate throughout the night.
The first to act will be the young Murcia band Poolshake, which is surprising the musical panorama for the quality of its work, despite the young age of its members.
They were awarded in the year 2016 in the Pop Rock category of the CreaMurcia Contest.
A few years earlier, in 2011, the members of Atrezo reached semifinalists in the same category.
The local band will bet on a concert based on their songs with a strong Pop-style loaded with energy, very careful lyrics and a powerful direct.
A night full of music that will be completed when the group Dorian takes the stage.
Become one of the referents of the national indie pop, will make the Artillery Barracks vibrate with themes like Any Other Part, Artificial Paradises or The Sandstorm, but also with their most recent singles like Until the Sun falls.
Gastronomy and market
As for gastronomy there will be a food trucks area with different food options for the attendees, product tastings thanks to the collaboration of sponsoring companies like Patatas Acho.
To this will be added a Market of Murcia signatures formed by 15 posts in which the young creators and designers will show their products.
Among them are Marta's Project, Pair of Dolls, Details with Carmen MÂŞ, Kojak, Ginelos, GOAT, Eiko, Vintage Radio, La Boutique de Mika, Ana Martinez, Mr. Common, Dpiedra Jewelery or Singular Sewing, among others.
In the same venue will also be installed various tents in which the Youth Department of the Department will offer all young people information on the activities and programs that the Murcia City Council offers young people throughout the year (European Volunteer Service, Club of Languages, CreaMurcia, Camps, ...), as well as the activities and workshops offered by youth centers and the REDES program, which will bring the different proposals offered periodically to the children to complete their leisure time and fun.
There will also be a leisure area with two attractions that will surprise all the attendees, regardless of their age,
For its part, the Municipal Graffiti Office of the City of Murcia will have an active role in this edition with the assembly of a trust of 5x3 meters where two graffiti Murcia, Nels and Toren, will design and create the logo of Murcia Moves, while the attendees sign as they enter the venue.
#MurciaSeMueve Sostenible
Another innovation in this edition of #MurciaSeMueve is the collaboration with Ferrovial, which will make the event sustainable, thanks to an action promoted by No Seas Marrano, which will have a stand where coins will be distributed, "marranetes", in exchange of used glasses, which can be exchanged for gifts.
In addition, six people will raise awareness of the use of recycling bins and cleaning the environment.
The entrance is free with invitation, which can be downloaded from today Thursday, October 19th at www.informajoven.org, until the capacity is completed.
