The Councilor for Employment, Tourism and Culture, Jesús Pacheco, this morning placed the plaque that distinguishes the Titisclothing trade as an establishment with the Commitment for Tourism Quality, which means that a total of 106 companies and services already have the badge in the municipality.

Pacheco explained that "in these years, the City Council has made important efforts to extend and consolidate the implementation of the Integral System of Tourism Quality in Destinations (SICTED), carrying out an intense awareness and training of entrepreneurs and public services in the tourism sector, with the aim of improving the tourist offer incorporating criteria of quality and excellence throughout the itinerary of tourist consumption, to make among all that Murcia is a destination of quality.

At the moment Murcia advances to the sixth position among the 191 destinies that participate in the project at national level, with 106 companies and services distinguished with the Commitment of Tourism Quality.

Throughout 2017 this distinction has been achieved by businesses such as Cafes Salzillo Condomina and Cafes Salzillo Thader, professional organizer of congresses Cultura Connection, Teatro Romea and two taxi drivers (Javier Pardo Hernández and Francisco López Clavijo.

At the moment they are in process of distinction the trades Papabubble caramelos artisans, Beatriz Regional costumes and Toof for you;

hotels AC, Hotel Agalia, Hotel Catalonia, Hotel Cetina, Hotel Churra, Hotel Churra Vistalegre and Hotel Ibis;

the restaurant El Churra;

the Imartours travel agency;

Terra Natura and the Local Police and Civil Protection.

It is worth noting the variety and number of subsectors, in total 14, which are currently participating in the project, such as travel agencies, bars and cafes, shops, convention bureau, tour guides, hotels, museums and tourist attractions, organizers congress services, congress centers, leisure parks, restaurants, citizen security (local police and civil protection service) and taxis.

The councilman explained that "a good number of establishments have distinguished themselves with the commitment of tourist quality throughout these years and it is necessary to emphasize that an awareness of destiny is being generated in the participating companies and services. forget it is a tourist project, it is allowing companies that are not strictly feel that are also part of the destination visitor's experience.

"The clearest and most direct message of SICTED is that the members of the tourist destination must go hand in hand, because if one fails, it will have repercussions on the rest. The Integral System of Tourism Quality in Destinations (SICTED) is a program developed by the Secretary of State for Tourism, whose purpose is the integral and permanent management of quality in a tourist destination.

The main objective is to ensure that the tourist perceives a level of quality homogeneous in all the services that affect his itinerary of consumption.
