The Contracting Board has approved the proposal for the award of the project, which was attended by almost fifty companies.
The new building will occupy an area of ​​2,000 m2 and will also have a 24-hour operating study room.
The Bureau of Recruitment, meeting this morning with the chairman of the Councilor for Finance and Contracting, Eduardo Martínez-Oliva, and with the assistance of representatives of the municipal groups, has given the green light to the award of the project to build a new municipal center in Beniaján, equipped with a library, auditorium and dance classrooms and workshops, as well as a 24-hour study room.
Forty-five companies were interested in this contract, which the Government Board will award to Eneas SA and Sánchez y Lago SL with a budget of 970,230 € excluding VAT) and a term of execution of 12 months.
The building, developed with a single floor, will be raised on a municipal lot very close to the Auditorium and will occupy an area of ​​2,000 m 2 .
It has been structured in two separate areas, one for the library and another as a cultural center, and it will also have a shared area of ​​common uses with an auditorium and dance hall.
The file is promoted by the councils of Education, Relations with Universities and Heritage and Employment, Tourism and Culture.
