The Youth Department, led by Rebeca Pérez, has launched, through the program 'Networks for free time', a gastronomic program that until the end of November will bring the young Murcia recipes and typical elaborations of autumn and Christmas.
In total, three thematic workshops with which to make known the traditional products of this date.
The first of them will be held on October 20 and 27, 2017 with the implementation of recipes for the celebration of All Saints' Day and Halloween.
Already in November the days 3 and 10 will serve to make known to the young the foods that, with the arrival of the cold, proliferate in the markets.
This is the case of mushrooms, sweet potatoes or pumpkins, which become protagonists in the kitchens of Murcia homes and serve as a basis for the production of dishes and desserts that participants can try.
Finally the Friday 17 and 24 November will be held the Christmas Recipes Workshop.
An opportunity to expand the knowledge about the recipes that during the last days of the year table the tables in meetings and celebrations, as well as a varied sample of sweets and desserts, such as mantecados, nougat, polvorones or marzapanes.
