The Councilor for Modernization of Administration, Urban Quality and Participation, José Guillén, visited the hamlet of Torreagüera, together with the president of its Municipal Board and technicians of the Service of Parks and Gardens and the concessionaire company STV, to know firsthand the needs of the green areas of the hamlet.
Thus, Guillén has inaugurated the new outdoor sports area of ​​Calle Sol, in front of the Mirasierra school, which covers an area of ​​400 square meters and allows different types of muscle exercises for free.
Likewise, the councilor has visited the new space for canine relaxation in the Montegrande garden, which will soon expand and improve services.
In addition, Guillén has announced that El Secano Street will be restored to the woodland and shrub mass and will build a new staircase to improve access to the top of the garden.
In addition, in Musician Street Jose Ruiz Mompeán will install a new playground with shade and new tree will be planted around its perimeter.
These works are part of the commitment of the council to convert the parks and gardens of Murcia and districts in places of encounter and coexistence for all.
