The school Santa Rosa de Lima in the neighborhood of Los Rosales in El Palmar has already begun the works of adaptation of a classroom to host the group of mothers of students who requested to receive Spanish classes for adults in mornings in that center.
This will answer the more than 70 requests of Arab women who requested the opening of a space to receive training by the Adult School, since until this moment was only imparted in the afternoon in the institute Marqués de los Vélez.
"The fact that Arab women want to integrate into an educational plan has many meanings. We are talking about a personal process of liberation and personal identification that comes from afar and is a step to break with a cultural and social corset," said the the training in El Palmar, Enrique Baeza.
Let us change Murcia has thanked the management of the school and the Adult Center of Infante its "great provision" to cover both this demand and many others related to integration and social work in a neighborhood with a high percentage of population.
For Baeza, this experience demonstrates the value of work in the neighborhoods, but above all the importance of the public administrations being able to articulate measures that adapt in an agile way to the proposals that arise from social and human processes.
Let us change Murcia presented, in order to satisfy the demand of these women, a motion in which requested the creation of a classroom in the school.
"Thanks to the management of the center and the work of the educational community this has been possible."
