The Council for Modernization of Administration, Urban Quality and Participation, led by José Guillén, has installed a giant garden, two meters, in the gardens of Avenida Teniente Flomesta, between La Glorieta and the river.
In this way, the City Council grants a second use, within its policy of re-utilization of urban furniture, to the figure that in Spring Festivals was on the bridge in front of the Reina Sofía hospital.
"We wanted this figure, with plants of passiflora climbing, to be located in this green area looking at the Segura River, the Old Bridge and the Glorieta", explains the mayor of Modernization, Urban Quality and Participation, José Guillén.
In this way, you want to keep an emblem of Murcia so that citizens can contemplate it when they walk along the river and embellish this area with this symbol Murcia.
