Murcia is one of the 13 cities chosen by Siemens to host the 'Creating Perfect Places that will showcase innovative technological solutions in the field of smart cities.
Next Tuesday 10 October, the Iron Bridge will host this itinerant smartcity hub that becomes an exhibition of technologies and practical demonstrations in areas such as pollution reduction;
improving urban mobility;
intelligent building construction;
access control;
video surveillance;
traffic management;
the construction of efficient electrical networks or the control and security of critical infrastructures, among others.
The tour will show how through digital sophisticated solutions in terms of protection, security, sustainability, supply, control, building or mobility can substantially improve the quality of life of citizens and the ability of authorities to more efficiently manage the saturation of the public services that this increase of population generates.
For this, the hub has provided different tools such as demos, interactive screens, applications or videos designed to facilitate the understanding of solutions.
In addition to Murcia, the cities that are part of the tour are Madrid Toledo, Malaga, Granada, Palma de Mallorca, Zaragoza, Bilbao, Santander, Valladolid, Gijón and Vigo.
