Until the 7th of October, pre-registration is still open to participate in the VIII edition of the ACTIVA-T Program, developed by the Center for Sports Medicine of the University of Murcia.
The initiative aims to promote a healthier lifestyle, trying to minimize cardiovascular risks, by abandoning sedentary life and adopting healthy nutritional habits.
The program includes a medical-sports examination, various tests, and the necessary planning to individually achieve the established objectives.
The medical-sports survey includes an individual assessment of fitness and strength, which will be the starting point.
The staff of the Center of the UMU will provide the training planning in the physical activity that best suits the needs of each one.
It also has a nutritionist who will provide advice for proper nutrition and, at all times, we will have the support of a sports psychologist, who will help to adopt these new habits.
The number of places is 25 and the program lasts a full academic year.
During that time, controls and reevaluations will be made to adapt the training program to the improvements obtained.
With a little will, those who register, will go from being a sedentary person, to being an active person, satisfied with having paid a little attention to your health.
