The Robles Chillida Foundation in Caravaca de la Cruz has awarded scholarships to beneficiaries of the R & D & I activities in the areas of Health Sciences, as a result of the collaboration agreement signed with the University of Murcia (UMU).
The delivery took place in the BMN Culture Hall of the aforementioned town of Murcia, and a reception was previously held in the town hall, which was attended by, among others, the mayor, José Moreno;
the President of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation, Amador López, and the Vice Chancellor of Research of the UMU, Antonio Juan García.
Also present was the vice president of the Patronato and executor, Amalia Martín.
In this fifth edition of the call for aid, they have been granted as follows:
* Prize for doctoral theses, first prize, endowed with 3,000 euros, to Víctor López López, and second prize, endowed with 2,000 euros, to Cristina Pérez Patiño.
* Research projects, with a staffing of 10,000 euros each, for Professor Juan Antonio Madrid Pérez, director of a project to evaluate the biological clock and sleep in patients with cirrhosis of the liver.
Transplant effect, and another for the project led by Professor Asta Tvarijonaviciute, director of a study on the detection of metabolic syndrome using salivary biomarkers using the dog as an experimental model.
* The international mobility aid, with 4,000 euros, has been awarded to Cristina Pérez Patiño, for a stay in a veterinary reference laboratory in Sweden.
To the delivery of the aid also attended the director general of Vocational Training of the Autonomous Community, Sergio Lopez.
