The professor of the University of Barcelona Joao Zilhao (Lisbon, Portugal, 1957) will be in charge of delivering the inaugural lesson of the degree in History of the University of Murcia (UMU), which will deal with Neanderthals.
The event will be held tomorrow, October 5, at 7:00 pm, in the Hemicycle of the Faculty of Letters, on the Merced campus.
The lecturer has taught in several European universities, and in 1996 was appointed by the Portuguese Government to take charge of the creation of the Coao Valley Archaeological Park.
Likewise, he has created and directed the Portuguese Institute of Archeology.
