The Humanitarian Medicine Chair of the UCAM has been the backbone of a new project of the Catholic University that adds research, training and solidarity.
Bramwel Kisuya, Kenyan ambassador, visited the Monastery of Los Jerónimos to meet with José Luis Mendoza, president of the UCAM and form future collaborations.
"We want to work together with the Catholic University of Murcia to improve research and healthcare in our hospitals," said the ambassador after the meeting.
José Manuel Rodríguez, president of Solidarity Surgery and director of the Chair of Medicine and Humanitarian Surgery at UCAM, described the key role that Catholic University will play: "We have been in Kenya doing humanitarian projects, operating patients and conducting consultations. we also want to work on training and there the UCAM is very involved in supporting and validating the training we offer there.The ambassador is coming to seal that relationship and that this project is real through universities in Kenya and establish a fluid relationship.
