The Governing Board has approved a collaboration agreement with the Patronato Foundation of Jesus Abandoned that will allow the students of the project PMEF-MY Palmar Gastroturismo IV to elaborate the daily menus of the users of this institution.
In total 65 menus will be created in the School of Hospitality of the City of Murcia, located in the Center for Training and Employment Initiatives of El Palmar, by students-workers in the specialties of Cooking and Pastry-Confectionery.
This action combines the dual purpose of carrying out professional practices with the care of people at risk of exclusion, attending to the collaborating commitment with groups that need to receive personalized attention in care and food.
This improves the employability of the unemployed through their participation in works or services of public interest or social interest, whose realization contemplates specialties that have the corresponding certificates of professionalism.
This agreement will be extended until the end of April next year.
