The Councilor for Modernization of Administration, Urban Quality and Participation, José Guillén, accompanied by the coordinator of International Projects and Strategic Research at the University of Murcia, Antonio Skarmeta, held a meeting with the representatives of the Fundación Telefónica, Bruno Vilarasau , Director of Public Administration and Digital Services of Telefónica, Joan Cruz, Director of Institutional Relations of the Fundación Telefónica and Ángel Lloret, regional director of Telefónica Region of Murcia, to begin working on an agreement, in collaboration with the Department of Employment, Tourism and Culture, which will allow the implementation of the project 'Digital Employment'.
This new program, which will be face-to-face and online, aims to train and prepare digital professionals in the most labor-intensive technologies and connect technology companies with unemployed youth.
It is aimed at young people from 18 to 35 years old, with an indifferent degree and who are unemployed.
This project seeks to boost young employability through collaboration in the design of actions to enhance the professional skills of young people, scholarship programs and the development of practices in companies, and the promotion of entrepreneurship.
In addition, it will allow the development of professional skills in technology and digital services for young people between 18 and 35 years of age who are unemployed
