'Citizens should know that the maintenance of level crossings while circulating the trains via the provisional route must be approved by the Railway Safety Agency'
"Our interest is to respond to the just requests of the neighbors and to be compatible with technical solutions, the safety of citizens and users of the train and comply with the railway regulations," said Councilman of Development, Roque Ortiz today, responding to the statements of Citizens in relation to the works for the burial of the AVE.
'They should know that the maintenance of the level crossings while the trains circulate by means of the provisional route must be approved by the Railway Safety Agency, not by the Town Hall', something that, however, 'does not mean that we are not working to put in order to minimize the discomfort that works of this magnitude cause to the neighbors'.
Among these actions is the re-ordering of traffic throughout the environment and the implementation of a large battery of proposals aimed at ensuring maximum permeability and accessibility.
Finally, Ortiz has urged the municipal group of citizens to collaborate, satisfying the general interest, 'let us make it as soon as possible the arrival of the AVE buried in Murcia as soon as possible'.
