The University of Murcia and Tranvía de Murcia, a subsidiary of the Department of Development, led by Roque Ortiz, launched a campaign to promote the use of public transport among university students.
This way, 2,000 euros will be distributed in bonds between university students who are more environmentally conscious and who use public transport more.
The University has a "Points Program" that counts and compensates the environmental actions developed by the university students.
Thanks to the collaboration of Tram of Murcia from this month the workers and students of the UMU that participate in the campaign will be able to request bonos or recharges of the tram like reward to its environmental actions.
This campaign, promoted by the Vicerectorate of Economy, Sustainability and Health Sciences in which Travía de Murcia has wanted to collaborate, aims to raise awareness of the importance of acquiring responsible habits with the environment in the institution.
The information of the campaign is published on the website: www.um.es/web/campussostenible
