A joint action between the Department of Youth and Cooperation and Employment, Tourism and Culture will allow the employment of young people between 16 and 29 years old.
According to the latest data, 81 young people found work each day in the Region during the second quarter of the year
The Councilor for Youth and Cooperation, Rebeca Pérez, and the Councilor for Employment, Tourism and Culture, Jesús Pacheco, presented this morning the Youth Guidance Service which will provide information, guidance, activation and accompaniment to young people, for their sustainable integration in the labor market and the implementation of motivational actions.
This service is developed thanks to a grant from the Directorate General of Youth of the Region of Murcia within the framework of the Operational Program European Social Fund 2014-2020 of the Region of Murcia, and is aimed at young people between 16 and 29 years, thus favoring their incorporation into training processes or the labor market.
The main objective is to offer a specialized service in the individualized accompaniment in the active search of employment and the labor insertion.
To achieve this, on the one hand, a set of accompanying tasks in the Active Search for employment will be carried out, such as activation tasks (with support to the process of incorporation into the National System of Youth Guarantee and optimization of the same), tutoring (with orientation for the definition of academic and / or professional goals) and follow-up tasks (in which the personal professional profile will be established and advice on job offers, training opportunities and / or self-employment).
On the other hand, young people who access this new service have the option of benefiting from measures to stimulate the insertion of people in this priority group into the new Strategy for Quality Employment, for example through their participation in programs which allow them to receive remuneration while forming and developing works of social interest in their municipalities
Pacheco stated that "this action will be developed in the Youth and Employment Services, as both areas work together in this sector of young, public population to which this project is aimed."
This personalized service will be offered in the facilities of Centro Informajoven on Tuesdays from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm and Fridays from 10:00 am to 2:00 p.m., on the telephone number is 968 21 55 82. La Región de Murcia ha ganado 7.400 trabajadores menores de 30 años, incluidos en el contingente de los 81.700 nuevos puestos de trabajo generados en el mercado laboral de nuestra Región al cierre del segundo trimestre de este año, según datos del Instituto Nacional de Estadística recogidos en la última Encuesta de Población Activa (EPA).
De esta manera, una media de 81 jóvenes encontró trabajo cada día en la Región durante el segundo trimestre.
La cifra de trabajadores ocupados menores de 30 años ha crecido un 9,96 por ciento en esos tres meses, un ritmo de creación de empleo que es más del doble que el registrado de media en el conjunto del país durante el mismo periodo (un 4,91 por ciento de subida).
En el conjunto de tramos de edad, la creación de empleo en la Región durante el segundo trimestre fue de 15.000 nuevos ocupados, por lo que la incorporación de 7.400 jóvenes al mercado laboral significa que uno de cada dos nuevos trabajadores de la Región es menor de 30 años.
Uno de los elementos que han impulsado esta tendencia positiva según los expertos en las políticas de empleo viene siendo la apuesta por Garantía Juvenil: una iniciativa europea, que ofrece una atención integral en cuanto a posibilidades de formación y mejoras de las posibilidades de acceso al empleo a los menores de 30 años que no estudian ni trabajan, gracias en parte a la simplificación de los requisitos de inscripción.
