Felipe Coello, councilor of Sports and Health, presents the IX Region of Murcia Water Polo Tournament, organized by the Murcia Waterpolo Club, held during this weekend at the Murcia Park pool.

This event is structured in two simultaneous competitions, but of different classification;

on the one hand the competition by categories and on the other the competition by clubs.

The competition by categories will occupy the day of Saturday and is established by age bands in which in each of the categories will have a group phase and later semifinals and final.

As for the category by clubs, it will be held on Sunday, giving by winner to that club that receives more score.

This modality declares winner to the club that has a summation of points greater among all its categories participating in the tournament.

Coello stressed that this tournament "comes on a very appropriate date as it is very close to the start of the season and therefore serves as preparation for all teams, regardless of the level or the regional league in which they are."
