The Government Board has approved the call for the first time of ten grants 'Culture and Creativity' to support entrepreneurship in cultural and creative industries in the Region of Murcia Cultural Factor, the Department of Employment, Tourism and Culture.
The selected entrepreneurs will receive a scholarship with a duration of six months, for a total amount of 2,541 euros.
Anyone who is of legal age who wishes to implement his idea or develop his project within the scope of the ICC may participate in this call.
In addition, the residence grants come with other resources that will be available to entrepreneurs as a creative ecosystem that fosters networking and the creation of a business fabric in the field of cultural, creative and innovation entrepreneurship and participation in the Innovation Plan, a training itinerary designed by Cultural Factor that aims to turn the projects of resident entrepreneurs into sustainable enterprises.
Likewise, active experts with teaching experience and Factoría Cultural, through on-line sessions and tutorials, consultancies and workshops, will accompany the projects in all phases of their development and implementation, from conception and incubation to acceleration and launch to the market.
Workspace and expert forum
They will also have a workspace at the Cultural Factor, with headquarters in the Párraga Center, with a Monday to Friday schedule from 9 am to 8 pm, and also has a multipurpose room, two audiovisual production rooms recording, soundproofed room and TV set), internet connection and personalized attention.
They will also be able to participate in an expert forum consisting of a series of participatory talks with renowned professionals from the world of culture and creativity, as well as success stories in the hands of emerging and inspiring projects to be held with the support of the Bank Foundation Sabadell one day a month.
Finally, the scholarship holders will have a 50% discount in Factoría Escuela, a training program that is born with the vocation to contribute to the development of emerging initiatives in the cultural and creative industries and to support professionals in this sector.
Practical courses, workshops, student-focused and applicable to any field are included.
One month deadline
The projects submitted to this call for scholarships can be in any state of maturity and should be included in the three major areas in which the Cultural and Creative Industries (Technologies, Communications and Arts) are divided, including Architecture, Visual Arts, Performing Arts, Crafts and Antiques, Cinema, Design (Graphic, Industrial, Editorial and Interior), Digital Distribution, Editing, Digital Edition, Photography and Video, Participatory Content Generation and Social Media, Research and development, Games, Computer games, Fashion, Mobility and localization, Music, Open data, Cultural and natural heritage, Press, Content production, Advertising, Radio, Television and new media, Tourism and gastronomy, Software, Video and Videogames .
The deadline for submission of applications will begin on October 16 and will run until November 16, the selection of projects will be made between November 16 to 23, while results will be communicated as of November 24.
